GENERAL CONDITIONS

Below you will find our general (rental) conditions. You should read these terms and conditions carefully on or before arrival.

1.Destination and use

Villa SKYFALL can accommodate up to 8 people. It is not allowed to occupy the house with more than the stated maximum number of people, with the exception of babies in a cot. The main tenant must be at least 21 years old and must be present during the entire rental period to supervise young people/children who also stay in the house. When booking we receive a copy of the passport of the main tenant. Villa SKYFALL is intended for holiday residence. Changes by the tenant to the destination or use are not permitted. The villa will be delivered completely clean and in a tidy condition. On departure, the tenant must return this in a neat condition. (cleaned up). The landlord assumes that everything is in place upon delivery, the dishes have been washed and the household equipment used has been cleaned. Cleaning costs will be passed on to the tenant through the deposit.

The tenant will respect the rental guidelines and treat the rented property and its contents neatly in all situations, such as closing windows and doors in the event of wind/rain, closing the home when you are absent and by switching off all electrical appliances when not in use. being used. The alarm must also be activated when leaving the house.

If nuisance is caused to surrounding residents, the landlord reserves the right to cancel the contract with immediate effect. It is expressly forbidden (unless prior written permission has been requested from the landlord) to organize parties or other events in Villa SYFALL. If this is cashed, the rental contract will be terminated with immediate effect and there will be no refund of paid rent and/or deposit.

It is not allowed to transfer rights or to sublet the property to third parties.

2. Payment and conditions

The tenant will receive a confirmation by email after payment has been made.

The deposit must also be transferred. You will receive instructions for this after your reservation. The reservation is final when payment is received.

The tenant will have access to Villa SKYFALL if the rental agreement has been completed and signed together with these general (rental) conditions, together with a copy of the passport of the main tenant and the full payment and deposit has been received.

Check-in is possible on the day of arrival after 4 pm, check-out on the day of departure before 11 am. In consultation with the manager, this can be done later, if there are no new tenants.

The lessor reserves the right to terminate the agreement due to serious circumstances. In that case, the tenant will be informed as soon as possible of the cancellation of the rental contract and the rent already paid will be refunded within two weeks after cancellation.

3. Deposit

For each booked period, a deposit of Euro 500.00 is paid by the tenant. For tenants between 21 and 28 years old, a deposit of Euro 750.00 must be paid. Reimbursement of the deposit (settled with cleaning and any damage) will be made within 14 days after the end of the rental contract.

4. Prices

The rental prices and other costs can be found on our website.

The beds are made on arrival and there are plenty of towels and beach towels available. These are changed during the interim cleaning. Extra bed and bath linen are available on request and at an additional cost.

-Electricity and water consumption is included in the rental rate. 

– Mandatory intermediate cleaning after every 7 days (Euro 150.00) and final cleaning (Euro 250.00).

5. Insurance and Cancellation

We recommend that you take out a good travel and cancellation insurance with worldwide coverage. The villa and its contents are insured against the usual risks and according to the usual conditions with a local insurance company. The tenant’s goods are not insured under this policy. All reservations are final. If the reservation is cancelled, no refunds will be made on reservations made directly or via our website skyfall.nl/villaskyfall.com.
Corona Clause: It is possible if due to circumstances related to corona, for example with increased infections, infections in the travel group or due to local or international measures or new color codes, it is possible to change the rental period free of charge to a later available time.

6. Loss, theft, damage / destruction

By agreeing to our rental conditions with your online reservation, the tenant signs for liability in the event of loss, theft and breakage / destruction of goods belonging to the household contents on arrival. The tenant also declares that the household effects and everything pertaining thereto in and around the rented object will be treated properly. Damages must always be reported to the administrator. Lessor has no liability for loss / theft / injury / force majeure in the event of water failures, or power failure at the time of occupation of the villa.

The lessor is not liable for:
-Theft, loss or damage, of whatever nature, during or as a result of a stay in Villa SKYFALL The tenant is obliged to switch on the alarm system when leaving the house. -The breakdown or shutdown of technical equipment, temporary outages or failures in and around the home of water and/or energy. – Unannounced street work and construction work around the house – Non-execution or partial execution of the lease in case of force majeure. This also includes that the service providers engaged by the lessor remain negligent; – Violation of applicable rules and nuisance from activities outside the rented property. – Force majeure of any kind. -Accidents in and around the pool and terraces. – The manager or landlord cannot be held liable for accidents in or around the house.

7. Visit of the manager or landlord

The landlord or manager is allowed to visit the villa by means of an appointment with the tenant, with the aim of checking whether all obligations have been fulfilled. This right must take into account the privacy of the tenant and will be exercised in moderation.

8. Liable

The tenant can be held liable for theft of and damage to the household effects if the theft takes place without traces of burglary. In the event of theft without traces of burglary, for example by not closing windows or doors in the absence, the tenant is liable for damage suffered to property of the landlord.

9. Other

Any printing errors in the general terms and conditions, on our website or other forms and documents are subject to change.
The lessor reserves the right to make interim changes.
The lessor is under no circumstances liable and responsible for damage caused to all persons involved or movable and immovable property. The tenant hereby waives any recourse against the landlord, the owner of Villa SKYFALL.

Only Dutch law applies to this rental agreement. All disputes arising from the rental agreement will be handled by the court in the Netherlands.

10. Pets are not allowed.

11. Smoking is not allowed in the house.

12. Large private or commercial events are not allowed.
